As a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Security Clearance in Middletown, RI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $26.27 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat03:00 PM - 07:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior areas, parking locations, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, maintain required logs, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
