Job Summary
DSI is growing-again!
We are currently hiring Security Officers in Cranbury NJ Come join a diverse and inclusive team that believes in providing excellent customer service and recognizes that its greatest asset is its employees.
As a Security Officer, you will help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients, their employees, and the public. This role requires professionalism, attentiveness, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.
This is a temporary position with an anticipated end date of August 22, 2026.
Requirements:
  • Must possess a valid New Jersey SORA card.
  • Must be reliable and available to work through the duration of the assignment.

The following shift is available:
Monday- Friday 6:00am- 4:00pm
Pay Rate $20.00 per hour
Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment through visible presence and routine patrols
  • Observe, report, and respond to hazards, incidents, and suspicious activity
  • Follow DSI policies, client requirements, and post-specific instructions
  • Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public
  • Complete required reports and documentation accurately and timely
  • Participate in training and comply with DSI safety procedures and manuals
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license preferred
  • Reliable transportation and means of communication
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to conduct routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all weather conditions
  • Must meet all preemployment requirements
