As a Security Officer Part Time Emergency Dispatch in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Dispatch Officer supporting a government transportation location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, document incidents, and relay information to appropriate personnel. You will help maintain an organized, secure environment while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $28.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri06:00 AM - 06:00 PMSat06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to riders, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at transit facilities.
  • Monitor communications systems, alarms, cameras, and incoming calls; dispatch appropriate personnel and resources according to established protocols.
  • Receive, document, prioritize, and relay information regarding incidents, service disruptions, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, and records of communications, assignments, and actions taken.
  • Coordinate with transit personnel, emergency responders, and law enforcement as directed, and conduct regular and random patrols of assigned facilities and perimeter areas when required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
  • A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
