Job description

We are seeking a Construction Project Manager to join our team! You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating staff, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure that renovation projects are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Work with Renovation Consultants to provide information to help convert inquiries into successful renovation projects (project cost estimates, quotes, timelines, specifications, etc.).
  • Work with designers and subcontractors to pull together the overall costs, specifications, and timelines and establish contracts with specific terms and conditions with subcontractors.
  • Manage subcontractors throughout the the project to deliver great results for customers and profitable projects for Refresh.
  • Set and maintain all job schedules.
  • Manage liability for for Refresh and the customer.
  • Maintain good communications with the homeowners to ensure they have a positive experience throughout the renovation and become advocates for Refresh.
  • To be the advocate for homeowners, delivering the renovations they want for the budget they have allowed.
  • To deliver excellent customer service and ensure they will use Refresh again and recommend Refresh to friends and family.
  • Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients.
  • Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Must have an active Oregon CCB license and be in good standing with the CCB.
  • Previous experience in construction management or other related fields.
  • Familiarity with construction management software.
  • A positive, optimistic attitude with plenty of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to manage subcontractors, costing, and contract management
  • Must be able to resolve disputes effectively to meet budget, time, and quality outcomes.
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects involving multiple parties.
  • Strong leadership qualities.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Highly organized.
  • Deadline and detail-oriented.
