Job description

Facility:Dayton Children's - Main CampusDepartment:Medical EducationSchedule:Full timeHours:40Job Details:Provides administrative support and clerical support to the Director of Continuing Medical Education. Provides administrative/clerical support to all CME activities at Dayton Children's Hospital and outside of CME request. Work closely with the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCGME), Ohio State Medical Association (OSMA) and CME Tracker regarding the policies of CME accreditation. Excellent computer/typing and organizational skills, the ability to set goals, prioritize, multi-task, make decisions, compose letters, generate agendas and take meetings minutes are required. Very good interpersonal skills are essential.

Department Specific Job Details:

Hours: M-F 8 HOUR DAYS

Education:
GED or High School diploma is required.
Experience:
Microsoft Office (Outlook), typing, communication, computer proficiency, customer service, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
An associate degree and 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Job Description:

1. Manage hospital Grand Rounds -CME activities. (weekly)

2. Resource for hospital wide and off-campus coordinators submitting CME applications for approval through OSMA/DCH.

3. Maintain and manage CME Tracker Website.

4. Provide administrative support to the Director of Continuing Medical Education.

5. Attend all CME-related meetings.

6. Work closely with the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and Ohio State Medical Association (OSMA) and CME tracker.

7. Provide CME Committee Support.

8. Support related to Grand Rounds Online.

9. Support for Pediatric Forum Journal and Enduring Grand Rounds.
