Job Description:
Are you a creative storyteller with a passion for snack and beverage content? We're looking for an experienced temporary Content Creator who specializes in video and still Content creation tailored for social media platforms. If your portfolio includes short form video capture/ editing, Trends/ Platform specific formats, or Organic food/ beverage visuals, we'd love to see your work!
You will work behind the scenes, with a focus on capturing high-quality, engaging social-first content. While on-camera presence will occasionally be required, the emphasis is not on individual likeness or personal branding.
Key Attributes:
  • Social & Cultural fluency: Have a deep understanding of diverse cultural perspectives and communities, experience creating content that resonates with multicultural audiences, and ability to bring lived/ personally related experiences to content ideation.

  • Proof of solid experience creating content. Provide examples of social content (video preferred) you have created for your personal brand or a client. Experience in the Food/Snack and Beverage industry.

  • Demonstrate an upbeat, high-energy approach with a playful style and a curated yet scrappy aesthetic.

  • Ability to Bring Bold, High-Energy Creativity: Develop playful, fun, and visually striking content that reflects a maximalist aesthetic and differentiates the brand from competitors.

  • Demonstrate Proactive Ideation & Strategic Thinking: Take initiative in generating fresh, innovative ideas for social video, potential campaigns and event activations, ensuring content feels ownable and aligned with brand goals.

  • Demonstrate Social Media Expertise with Brand Alignment: Create engaging content for platforms like META (Instagram, Facebook) and TikTok, maintaining consistency with the client's bold personality and evolving tone.

  • Demonstrate a background in content copywriting: Create write ups, art copy, scripts, and post copy for ideated concepts.

  • Demonstrate a background in high output environments: Content creation for multiple brands with various outputs and timelines.

  • Demonstrate Video Production capabilities: Planning shots, shooting content, editing final video deliverables.

Important Accountabilities:
Reporting to the Associate Content Director, Social, you will ensure creative excellence when delivering work for clients. This is the ideal position for someone who is energized by collaborating with teammates and clients and always has their finger on the pulse of social.
  • You will be an individual contributor and create visual social media assets (including Instagram Story wallpaper, layouts, frames) for TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube and other social media channels.

  • You will manage personal production on social content photo and video shoots.

  • You will brainstorm inventive content ideas and apply new formats that promote engagement.

  • You will pitch ideated content to internal and client teams

  • You have a passion and interest for capturing and communicating brand stories through social media formats.

Qualifications:
  • 1-year minimum experience; bachelor's in advertising, Marketing or related field, required; in lieu of degree, equivalent experience in a relevant field required

  • Understand how to capture content within social platforms (Instagram Creator Tools, Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, TikTok) and provide visual guidance on social assets.

  • You must be comfortable shooting on an iPhone and have video editing skills.

  • You have shot in a lit studio environment and are not afraid to do your own styling.

  • Proficiency with a range of Adobe Creative Products (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Adobe Express, Illustrator)

  • You will work from home doing all aspects of social content creation, including brainstorming, pitching, storyboarding, shooting, and editing.

Additional Information:

Employees who live within a commutable distance of one of our hub offices, currently located in Chicago, metro Detroit, Los Angeles, and New York City, are required and expected to work from the office three days per week (two days per week for employees based in Los Angeles). Dentsu may designate other Hub offices at any time. Those who live outside a commutable range may be designated as remote, depending on the role and business needs. Regardless of your work location, we expect our employees to be flexible to meet the needs of our Company and clients, which may include attendance in an office.
The hourly pay range for this position is $53.22-$71.65. The hourly pay rate for the successful candidate is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law. Temporary employees are eligible for paid holidays in accordance with dentsu policy, as well as safe and sick time. This position is not eligible for any other benefits or other compensation.
