JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer and researcher to create, write, and successfully publish a neutral, well-sourced company Wikipedia article. The contractor will manage the full lifecycle of the article — from sourcing reliable references to navigating Wikipedia’s submission and review process — ensuring the page meets notability and content standards.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide a written assessment confirming notability before drafting.
• Identify and compile 5–10 reliable, independent third-party sources (excluding press releases or promotional content).

• Format the article using proper Wikipedia markup (wikitext), including citations, categories, and infobox.
• Submit draft for client review and incorporate one round of feedback.
• Manage submission through Wikipedia’s Articles for Creation (AfC) process or main namespace if eligible.
• Monitor submission, respond to reviewer feedback, and make revisions to secure approval.
• Provide a summary report of the submission process and editorial decisions.

• Comply with Wikipedia’s paid editing disclosure policy by disclosing relationship on user page and article talk page.
Required Qualifications
• Demonstrated experience writing and publishing Wikipedia articles (portfolio of contributions required).
• Strong knowledge of Wikipedia’s core content policies: Notability, NPOV, Verifiability, and No Original Research.
• Familiarity with Wikipedia’s Articles for Creation (AfC) workflow.
• Proficiency in wikitext markup and citation formatting.
• Excellent research skills with ability to identify credible, independent sources.
• Strong written English and ability to write in an encyclopedic, neutral tone.
Preferred Qualifications
