Job Responsibilities
  • Develop clear analytical reports and visualizations to communicate insights from exploratory analysis, trends, and model outputs to business stakeholders
  • Support end-to-end ML workflows by contributing to data preparation, feature/label creation, baseline modelling, and evaluation
  • Apply reproducible build practices (modular code, version control, documented assumptions, repeatable experiments).
  • Contribute to improving efficiency of data and ML processes through practical performance optimization (efficient transformations, scalable data handling, reduced runtime in pipelines).
  • Write SQL as needed for data profiling, feature dataset creation, and ETL/ELT validation (quality checks, reconciliations, incremental logic).
  • Partner with BI, data engineering, and product teams to translate business questions into data and modelling requirements
  • Follow established standards for data integrity, consistency, and security

Job Requirements

  • Structure ambiguous questions, define success metrics, and translate analysis/model outputs into clear business decisions
  • Produce stakeholder-ready storytelling through strong report design and effective visualizations
  • Experience using SQL and other exploratory data analytics to create clean datasets, build/evaluate baseline ML models, and deliver reproducible, well-documented work (Git/notebooks)
  • Commitment to staying up to date on the latest developments in the AI/ML ecosystem and apply relevant techniques
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, including experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional teams
  • Self-starter mindset with high initiative; comfortable in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, or related field
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in data science, analytics, or a related role, with demonstrated delivery of analytical or ML projects
  • Proficiency in Python and/or R for data analysis and statistical modelling
  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau and/or PowerBI
  • Understanding of Big data and data cloud-solutions, preferably Azure and Snowflake
  • Familiarity with data pipeline tools and ETL processes
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguous requirements and explain complex analytical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
