Job description

Computer Vision/Deep Learning Scientist

Location: Midtown Atlanta, GA (Hybrid: 2 days in-office; fully remote available for candidates outside the metro area)

Schedule: 6-Month Contract

We are seeking a Computer Vision/Deep Learning Scientist to collaborate across multi-functional business units, translating complex enterprise challenges into high-impact solutions. You will design, build, and deploy custom algorithms while managing the complete lifecycle from initial concepts through post-production monitoring.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, evaluate, and deploy production-ready computer vision and deep learning models.

  • Conduct end-to-end model development: requirements gathering, data evaluation, testing, and lifecycle maintenance.

  • Execute advanced techniques including image segmentation, augmentation, localization, object detection, and classification.

  • Run parallelized models on dedicated GPU clusters.

  • Mentor junior team members, guide targeted research initiatives, and assist with candidate interviews.

  • Present technical findings clearly to cross-functional partners and leadership.

Requirements:

  • 1 3+ years of relevant industry experience.

  • Strong proficiency in Python alongside frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, MXNet, and OpenCV.

  • Familiarity with modern CNN architectures (e.g., ResNet, VGG16, MobileNet) and traditional image processing (skimage).

  • Degree in CS, Math, EE, Statistics, or a related field.

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
