Job description

We are seeking a data-focused Technical Analyst to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing, analyzing, testing, and optimizing data formats to ensure seamless compatibility and high performance across our platforms.

Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid - 2 days/week in-office)

Position Type: Temp to Perm

Start Date: August 3, 2026

End Date (Contract Phase): February 8, 2027

Employment Eligibility: US Citizens or Green Card Holders only (No sponsorship permitted)

Please Note: This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days per week in our Phoenix, AZ office. Candidates must have prior experience working within a healthcare environment.

What You Will Do
  • Solutioning & Strategy: Meet with key stakeholders to capture business needs, validate requirements, and solution features prior to the build phase. Translate business demands into clear technical deliverables.
  • Data Architecture & Mapping: Complete Source-to-Target mappings, build, support, and maintain data processes, and utilize tools across the Microsoft BI Suite, Tableau, XML, JSON, and Hadoop environments (including reading data via PIG, HIVE, and Spark).
  • System & Process Documentation: Learn and document complex business and system data flows, assess impact across surrounding systems, and write detailed impact assessments with effort estimations.
  • Agile & Product Support: Collaborate with Product Owners (POs) on cross-team dependencies, assist with user story creation, and resolve timeline conflicts.
  • Security & Governance: Design appropriate security controls into every solution to ensure systems, networks, and data remain uncompromised. Participate in corporate quality and data governance initiatives.
  • Production Support & Optimization: Research, track, and resolve highly complex production problems. Partner with IT Infrastructure to implement effective production monitoring and create ad-hoc reports for internal and external use.
  • Project Leadership: Participate in or lead large-scoped projects, build proof-of-concept solutions, and create detailed project schedules based on business prioritization.
What You Will BringMust-Haves:
  • Healthcare Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience working directly with healthcare-related systems as a business/systems analyst or programmer.
  • Work Authorization: Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card holder).
  • Technical Footprint: Experience with data analysis, extraction, integration, and reporting using tools like Tableau, Microsoft BI Suite, XML, JSON, and foundational Hadoop (PIG, HIVE, Spark).
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience:
  • Required:
    • 3+ years of experience in computer technology and/or information systems.
    • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, data management/integration, and extract/analysis reporting.
  • Preferred:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of overall experience in data analysis, management, integration, and enterprise reporting.
    • 3+ years of experience working in corporate, enterprise-level systems.
Work Schedule & Environment
  • Schedule: Full-time (minimum 40 hours/week) with flexibility for additional hours as needed to meet project deadlines.
  • On-Call: Participation in an on-call rotation is required.
  • Location: Hybrid out of Phoenix, AZ (2 days in-office per week).
