 Job Description
 As a CNC Programmer/ Set-up, you’ll play a vital role in supporting production goals and machining high-precision parts. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented machinist with experience in both CNC turning and CNC milling, setting up the equipment and programming with Gibbs Cam. 
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Set up and Program CNC lathes and milling machines to produce parts and components.
  • Set-Up and program using Gibbs Cam. 
  • Machine a variety of materials to close tolerances per blueprint specifications
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety protocols 
 Qualifications and Requirements:
 
  • Minimum of 2-5 years CNC Set-up and programming in with Gibbs Cam 
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, micrometers, and a ruler to produce parts.
  • Be familiar with different alloy materials and the tooling, speeds and feeds required for machining the different alloys
  • Possess the math skills to calculate angles, bolt circles and any other equations required to accomplish machining tasks
  • Have own tools that accommodate set up, deburring, tool changing, and measuring for all phases of operation.
