Job Description:

The Tool Room Machinist is responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating manual and CNC machine tools to manufacture, repair, and modify tooling, fixtures, dies, gauges, and precision components. This position supports production by ensuring tooling accuracy, quality, and minimal downtime.
Skills Required
Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge Proficient in manual machining (critical in tool room environment) Knowledge of tool steels, heat treating, and surface finishes Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and other inspection equipment
Experience Required
3-7+ years experience in tool room or precision machining environment Experience with tight tolerance machining Set up CNC mills and/or lathes (prove out programs, set offsets, adjust tooling) Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings Manufacture and repair fixtures, dies, jigs, and special tooling Hold tight tolerances (.0005" or as required)

High School Diploma
Additional Information TEMP to HIRE Work Schedule: 2nd and 3rd Shift 3pm-11:30pm 11pm-7:30am Estimated Hours per Week: 40-56 There is 1 opening on each shift.
