Temporary CNAs, or Certified Nursing Assistants, are healthcare professionals who are hired on a short-term basis to provide basic care to patients in settings like hospitals, nursing homes, or rehabilitation centers. They help with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and monitoring vital signs. Temporary CNAs often fill in for permanent staff during periods of high demand, staff shortages, or employee absences. Their assignments can last from a few days to several weeks or months, depending on the facility's needs. This role requires CNA certification and the ability to quickly adapt to new work environments.

What job makes $10,000 a month without a degree?

A temporary Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) can potentially earn around $10,000 a month through overtime, agency work, or in high-demand healthcare settings. Achieving this income typically requires extensive experience, working long hours, and possibly obtaining specialized certifications or skills in healthcare or caregiving environments.

Why do so many CNAs quit?

Many CNAs quit due to low pay, physically and emotionally demanding work, and limited opportunities for advancement. Job stress, long hours, and inadequate staffing can also contribute to high turnover rates in the role.
