Clinical Laboratory Tech - Blood Bank

Duration – 13 Weeks (with high chances of contract extension) Location – New York

Shift – 8 Hours, 5 Days

Schedule – 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM

Pay Range: $57 - $60/hr on W2

Job Details:

  • Identifying blood types and antibodies
  • Testing blood for viruses that might be transmitted during transfusion
  • Investigating harmful responses of the body to blood transfusion
  • Supervising the collection, separation, delivery and storage of blood components
  • Supporting physicians and nurses in blood transfusion therapy

Required:

  • Valid license to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist issued by NYSE
  • BLS preferred.
  • Knowledge of Spanish language
  • 1 year of Blood Bank Clinical Laboratory Technologist experience
