Job description

PeopleLink Staffing in partnership with a leading automotive manufacturing employer in Princeton, IN is seeking Wheel Assembly Associates to join their team. Shift/Pay:
Monday - Friday 7pm to 4am with potential overtime daily and weekends
$19.95/hour
Wheel Assembly Job Summary:
The Wheel Assembly Technician is responsible for operating production line equipment, inspecting components, handling materials, and ensuring the safe and efficient flow of tire and wheel assemblies. This role supports manufacturing operations by maintaining quality standards, troubleshooting issues, and keeping the work environment clean and organized.
Key Responsibilities
  • Tire Line Operations - Operate all tire line stations, including balancing, sequencing (location specific), material handling, and other required line positions.
  • Material Receiving - Off load deliveries of tires, wheels, and other raw materials safely and efficiently.
  • Quality Inspection - Inspect tires, wheels, components, and finished assemblies according to established inspection standards and required frequencies.
  • Documentation & Reporting - Complete all required production records, documentation, and reports accurately and on time.
  • Troubleshooting & Problem Solving - Identify issues, perform root?cause analysis, and implement countermeasures to maintain production flow.
Qualifications:
  • Physical Strength - Ability to lift and move up to 70 lbs on a consistent basis.
  • Basic Math Skills - Ability to perform basic calculations needed for production and documentation.
  • Physical Endurance - Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend at the waist, and stoop for 8-12?hour shifts.
  • Repetitive Motion Work - Comfortable performing rapid, repetitive, machine paced activities.
  • Work Environment - Ability to work in a non climate controlled area (where applicable).
  • Shift Availability - 7:00 PM - 4:00, must be flexible to work daily overtime up to 2-1/2 hours and weekends
  • English Proficiency - Must read, write, and communicate fluently in English for safety compliance.
  • Pre?Employment Requirements - - Must successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and pre-employment physical (paid by employer).
