Job description

Mancan, in partnership with a successful full-service consulting engineering firm, is searching for a highly skilled Engineer!
This is an exciting opportunity for a fully competent Engineer who is confident in applying independent judgment, developing innovative solutions, and leading design efforts on complex projects. From implementing substantial design modifications to mentoring junior team members, this role offers variety, responsibility, and growth. Rate of pay for the position will be based upon experience around $45 per hour or higher.
Key Highlights:
- Lead and complete multi-discipline project designs
- Act as Project Manager when assigned
- Mentor and supervise Engineers, Drafters, Designers, and Technicians
- Prepare estimates, reports, and client presentations
- Travel domestically to meet clients and visit job sites
- Requires Professional Engineer (PE) registration
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree + 8 years of experience OR Masters + 6 years
- Must be able to seal drawings and act as Engineer of Record
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work overtime as needed
