This full-time Senior Engineering Manager role leads capital project delivery for chemical manufacturing facilities across North America. You will manage multiple projects exceeding $30M, oversee project lifecycle from conceptual design to implementation, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives. The position provides the opportunity to influence major engineering initiatives, integrate technology and operational needs, and drive process safety and compliance standards.
What You'll Do
  • Lead project teams for capital projects across multiple sites
  • Manage full project lifecycle: estimates, planning, initiation, execution, and deployment
  • Ensure project alignment with strategic objectives, managing scope, resources, and timelines
  • Chair project management team meetings, track dependencies, and resolve issues
  • Participate in feasibility studies, vendor selection, and proposals evaluation
  • Define Statements of Work and specifications for goods and services
  • Monitor, track, and report on project milestones, deliverables, risks, and critical paths
  • Apply process safety management practices including Risk Assessments, HAZOPs, MOCs, PSSRs, LOPA, and SIS implementation
What You Bring
  • BS in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (Chemical preferred)
  • 15-20 years hands-on experience in capital project management at chemical manufacturing facilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at different stages
  • Strong technical and data analysis skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to learn and apply new chemistries and processes

Salary Range: $150,000-$175,000
