As a CDL Driver - Boom Operator, you will ensure building materials are delivered to the job site accurately, safely, and on time. You will work closely with customers, fellow team members, and supervisors to guarantee projects are completed to company standards. This position requires patience and steadiness, along with a teamwork mentality. An ideal candidate will prefer a steady work style and enjoy executing clear objectives in a team-focused environment.


CDL Driver Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the accurate, safe, and on-time delivery of building materials to commercial job sites, warehouses, and residential homes
  • Inspect loaded trucks for order accuracy, comply with weight restrictions, and a materials are properly secured
  • Work with customers and co-workers to facilitate loading/unloading trucks and problem-solve any potential issues or concerns.
  • Perform DOT-required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Help coordinate deliveries and assist in maintaining inventory levels
  • Confirm delivery schedules are met while providing friendly and professional service
  • Ensure that the entire delivery team is using appropriate PPE when necessary
  • Help load and unload trucks during any downtime

Job Requirements:

  • Current CDL License
  • 1 year of prior commercial driving experience
  • Able to pass pre-employment drug screening
  • Qualified motor vehicle records for the past 3 years
