Job description

Job Summary:
DAWSON is a company that provides various support services, and they are seeking part-time Tasked-Based Technical Support Specialists. This role involves supporting MDDP operations by maintaining equipment and providing operational support as needed throughout the fiscal year.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct and support CBRN detection operations in conjunction with program stakeholders in post-deployment communications.
• Supports operational duties and activities based on request from FPM, and COR to support MDDP operational aspects as requested on a temporary duty status.
• Responsible for maintaining equipment, tactics, techniques, and procedure standards.
• Adheres to professional standards and codes of conduct set forth by MDDP, CWMD, and DHS including dress code, all forms of communication standards, social media regulations, and other policies as required.
• Conduct technical chemical, radiological and nuclear reach back on all requested deployments to demonstrate proficiency.
• Equipment experience shall include the use of primary and secondary screening devices, spectroscopic devices, and chemical identification equipment utilizing FTIR and Raman technologies.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Secret Security Clearance
• CBRN subject matter expert
• Have a Commercial Driver’s License Class B (CDL B) or ability to obtain within 3 months following contract award
• 5+ years CBRN experience in participating and assisting with operational planning and supporting the coordination of detection and preventative activities with a minimum 5 years of hands-on equipment experience. Equipment experience shall include the use of primary and secondary screening devices and shall include spectroscopic devices, and chemical identification equipment utilizing FTIR and Raman technologies
• Be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Demonstrate excellent leadership qualities, public speaking and presentation skills, verbal and writing skills will be of an excellent aptitude when producing documents and providing presentations.
• Basic ICS and NIMS certifications
• At least one basic radiation fundamental training program certification
• Primary and secondary screening preventative certifications.
• Demonstrate excellent decision making and critical thinking skills
• Able to operate in a high-paced environment with deadlines.
• Ability to Travel 50 – 75% during the year
