Job Description
About the Team:
The Account Manager at ZF Group is responsible for managing and growing strategic customer relationships within the Commercial Vehicle and Mobility sector. This role serves as the primary interface between ZF and assigned customers, ensuring strong commercial performance, customer satisfaction, and alignment with ZF's product and technology portfolio.
The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen, technical awareness, and relationship management skills to support ZF's position as a leading global supplier of driveline and chassis technology, as well as advanced mobility solutions.
What you can look forward to as Account Manager - Bus/Truck:
  • Serve as the primary commercial interface for assigned OEMs (Bus and/or Truck)
  • Build and maintain long-term, strategic partnerships at multiple organizational levels
  • Understand customer strategies, platforms, and future roadmaps
  • Identify new business opportunities aligned with ZF product lines (e.g., chassis systems, ADAS, suspension, electrification)
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including RFQs, commercial negotiations, and contract management
  • Develop and execute account plans to achieve revenue and margin targets
  • Lead pricing strategy, quotation development, and cost negotiations with customers
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, purchasing, operations) during program launches
  • Track program performance, profitability, and customer KPIs
  • Collaborate with product lines, engineering, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment on deliverables
  • Ensure timely resolution of commercial or operational issues

Your profile as Account Manager - Bus/Truck:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in account management, sales, or business development in automotive or industrial sectors
  • Experience working with OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers
  • Knowledge of automotive systems (chassis, driveline, electronics, or ADAS)
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
