Day shift from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU). This position requires a nurse with strong clinical skills and experience in managing patients with various complex conditions, including neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory issues.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage patients in IMCU/PCU settings.
  • Administer medications and provide treatment per protocols.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Document all patient interactions and care in the electronic medical records (EMR) system, specifically EPIC.
  • Assist with the management of specialty equipment such as temp pacers, chest tubes, and bipaps.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in IMCU/PCU.
  • Active RN license in New York and all relevant RN licenses verified through NURSYS.
  • Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
  • Experience with electronic medical records, particularly EPIC.
  • Valid driver's license with an address that matches demographic information.
