Temporary Biology Engineering Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Job Description:

The Biology Lab Technician supports the production of advanced cellular therapies in a GMP-regulated cleanroom environment. This is an entry-level opportunity ideal for candidates with a scientific aptitude and interest in cell culture, aseptic processing, and biotech manufacturing

Responsibilities:

• Perform aseptic manufacturing activities in a GMP-compliant cleanroom
• Support production, formulation, and cell banking processes
• Conduct cell culture and laboratory procedures using sterile techniques
• Accurately complete GMP documentation (batch records, SOPs, logs)
• Assist with validation activities and process improvements
• Handle raw materials, including receipt, preparation, and staging
• Operate and monitor laboratory equipment and instrumentation
• Package and document materials in compliance with regulatory standards
• Maintain cleanroom standards, including ISO compliance and contamination control
• Support tech transfer and collaborate with internal teams

Qualifications:

• 0–1 year of experience in biotech, lab, or cell therapy environment (internships accepted)
• High school diploma required
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field strongly preferred (Biology, Chemistry, Biotech, etc.)
• Basic understanding of cell culture, microbiology, or lab techniques
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
• Ability to follow GMP/GDP standards and SOPs

Nice to Haves:

• Cell culture or aseptic technique exposure
• Knowledge of cleanroom environments (ISO standards)
• Familiarity with GMP, GDP, and regulatory practices
• Experience with batch record documentation and validation concepts

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN.

The pay range for this position is $22.12 - $22.12/hr.
