Position Overview: As a Lab Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of our laboratory, ensuring the smooth functioning of experiments, equipment, and staff. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency while leading a team of lab technicians and researchers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of lab personnel, including technicians, researchers, and interns.
  • Develop and implement laboratory procedures, protocols, and safety guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Monitor and manage inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring proper maintenance of lab equipment.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide training, and support professional development for lab staff.
  • Oversee and troubleshoot technical issues, providing solutions to ensure minimal disruption.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support research and development projects.
  • Analyze data, prepare reports, and present findings to management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in [relevant field, e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, etc.]. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in a laboratory setting, with 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, safety protocols, and equipment.
