Job Description

AECOM Hunt is seeking to add a VDC Regional Manager to our team of professionals in Indianapolis, IN.

Primary responsibilities include:

  •  Provides overall direction of BIM activities in assigned areas including BIM implementation, integration, development, maintenance, potential liabilities and/or concerns
  • May supervise BIM specialists.
  • Creates and manages standard operating procedures and processes. Authorizes access to appropriate data and coordinates efforts with personnel in other departments, project managers, outside design firms, and client representatives.
  • Set standards, manage digital delivery on active jobs, mentor specialists, and embed model-based workflows with field teams and trade partners.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • BA/BS Engineering, Construction Management or relevant curriculum and 10 years of experience in digital technology including VDC or BIM management in construction, including 2 years of leadership or demonstrated equivalency of experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in construction VDC/BIM environments.
  • Experience in project VDC execution plans.
  • Experience in the coordination and management of various models for constructability, temporary works, logistics, and safety planning; drive clash detection and issue resolution with clear ownership and due dates.
  • Experience coordinated models into actionable field deliverables
  • Strong Revit and Navisworks skills and Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Mega project experience in sports, airport/aviation, higher education and convention center construction.
