Lead and Coach at Mets Camps
Mets Baseball & Softball Camps is hiring one Lead Softball Coach & Camp Director to oversee and coach our softball program during our August 17-21, 2026 camp session at Prospect Park in Brooklyn.
This is a hands-on leadership position designed for an experienced collegiate softball player, softball coach, teacher, or youth sports leader who enjoys coaching on the field while leading a team of coaches.
You'll spend your days teaching softball, mentoring campers, supporting staff, and ensuring the softball program runs smoothly from the first pitch to the final game.

  • $25.00 per hour
  • Approximately 8-hour camp days
  • Monday-Friday

  • Uphold the high standards and culture of Mets Baseball & Softball Camps
Qualifications
  • Collegiate softball playing experience strongly preferred
  • Previous experience coaching youth softball required
  • Experience leading staff, teams, or youth programs preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
  • Positive, dependable, and energetic
  • Ability to work outdoors throughout the camp day
  • Reliable transportation to Prospect Park
  • Ability to pass a background check
