Azure Infrastructure Support Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Azure Infrastructure Support Engineer with 10 years of hands-on experience supporting Azure environments. The role involves Azure infrastructure operations, troubleshooting, automation, documentation, and continuous service improvement in enterprise-scale environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L2/L3 operational support for Azure infrastructure services across production and non-production environments
  • Manage and support Azure Resource Manager (ARM) based deployments
  • Provision, monitor, and troubleshoot Azure Virtual Machines (Windows)
  • Administer Azure Backup and Recovery Services Vault, including restore operations and backup health monitoring
  • Manage patching and compliance using Azure Update Manager
  • Support Azure Migrate activities including discovery, assessment, and migration support
  • Configure and troubleshoot Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, alerts, and dashboards
  • Support Windows Failover Clusters and DFS Namespace in hybrid environments
  • Manage Azure Files and Azure File Sync implementations
  • Administer Azure Storage Accounts and ADLS Gen2 Storage
  • Review service tickets and incident trends to identify recurring issues and improvement opportunities
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and contribute to problem management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely issue resolution
  • Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and operational best practices

Required Skills & Technical Expertise

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Azure Infrastructure Support
