Job Summary:
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) US is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer with strong experience in Azure IaaS environments and Windows Server administration. The role involves managing virtual machines, networking, and storage, while ensuring high availability and robust support for production systems.
Responsibilities:
• The Infrastructure Onsite Server Engineer is responsible for administering and supporting Azure IaaS environments, including virtual machines, networking, storage, backup, and availability services, while providing robust Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) administration such as installation, patching, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• The role requires strong hands on expertise in Client vSphere/ESXi/vCenter for VM provisioning, lifecycle management, upgrades, and performance optimization, along with managing Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, and authentication services.
• The engineer will monitor system health, support backup and disaster recovery operations, handle incidents and changes through ITSM processes, collaborate with cross functional teams, and participate in on call support to ensure high availability of production systems.
Qualifications:
Required:
• strong hands on experience administering Azure IaaS environments
• Windows Server (2016/2019/2022)
• Client vSphere/ESXi
• Active Directory including GPOs, DNS, and DHCP
• proficient in incident and change management using ITSM tools
• strong troubleshooting skills
• working knowledge of PowerShell scripting
• Ability to work independently in an onsite, production critical environment with on call support responsibilities
