Job description

Azure Cloud Automation Engineer

Key responsibilities include creating automations and pipelines for creating and managing Azure environments using code and where possible existing Azure services, Azure administration, driving audit & compliance, senior Azure technical resource, reporting and mentoring team.

This challenging role will include following:

- Strong experience in Cloud automation languages, build & deployment tools.

- Strong experience in Cloud Cost Management and Security

- Experience in Azure Tagging and Policy Management

- Experience in SAFE agile methodology and agile project management tool (JIRA)

- Knowledge of Creating Alerts & Dashboards

- Strong audit and compliance experience

- Experience in Azure Identities and Governance

- BCDR and DR tests governance

- Knowledge of FinOps Cloud governance and security practices

Technical Skills and Capabilities (Primary - Must have)

- 8 to 10 years of experience in Azure administration, automation, build and deployment

- Automate infrastructure deployments in the Cloud with Terraform and Azure Pipelines

- Experience in Azure Compute, SQL database, Network, Storage & Disaster Recovery (DR)

- Strong knowledge and experience in Azure Security and Identity services

- Should have worked on Azure Policy design and implementation

- Should have worked on automation using JSON Templates, Python, PowerShell and Terraform

- Design and Implementing Azure Services like Backup Vaults, Recovery Service Vaults, Operation Management Suites, Cost Estimation and Efforts.

- Good knowledge of networking devices/appliances (DNS, Firewall, Routers)

- Agile scrum experience preferred (Scaled Agile a bonus)

- Should have worked in process mature production environments handling 24x7 support

- Superior communication skills (writing/speaking/ comprehension)
