The Rudolph Libbe Group is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join our Information Systems team. The Infrastructure Engineeris responsible fordesigning, implementing,optimizing, andmaintainingthe organization’s core IT infrastructure. This role helps ensure enterprise systems, servers, storage, and virtualization platforms are secure, resilient, scalable, and highly availableacrosson-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise virtualization platforms.
  • Manage physical and virtual server infrastructure, including performance optimization, capacity planning, and resource allocation.
  • Administer directory services, identity management, and access controls across hybrid environments, including SharePoint and third-party SaaS applications.
  • Administer and maintain enterprise endpoint management platforms, including device enrollment, configuration profiles, and compliance policies.
  • Apply regular patches, updates, and vulnerability remediations across infrastructure components in alignment with patch management policies.
  • Develop and maintain scripts, including PowerShell, Python, and Bash, to automate routine administrative tasks, provisioning workflows, and system monitoring.
  • Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives to streamline environment deployments and minimize configuration drift.
  • Maintain, test, and optimize backups, replication, and disaster recovery solutions to support Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO).
  • Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 engineering support for complex infrastructure issues.
  • Maintain rigorous documentation, including architectural diagrams, configuration standards, runbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Bridge traditional on-premises systems and modern hybrid/cloud architectures while supporting disaster recovery initiatives and business continuity.
SKILLS
  • Deep technical expertise in VMware vSphere, including vCenter and ESXi.
  • Advanced administration of Windows Server 2019/2022.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and firewall principles.
  • Proficiency with scripting languages and configuration management tools.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose root causes in complex, interdependent environments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
  • Experience managing cloud-connected infrastructure or SaaS/PaaS environments, such as Microsoft 365, Azure, or AWS.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5-10 years of dedicated enterprise infrastructure engineering experience.
  • Preferred certifications include VCP (VMware Certified Professional), Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent credentials.
