The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer reporting to the Senior Manager, Infrastructure & Cloud Administration, is a strong troubleshooter who enjoys solving complex technical problems, thrives as part of a collaborative DevSecOps team, and is interested in leveraging automation and emerging AI technologies to improve operational efficiency. This position is directly responsible for cloud administration, infrastructure operations, security remediation, system reliability, and Level 3 technical support.


How you’ll make an impact:


Infrastructure Operations



  • Manage patching, updates, and lifecycle for Azure VMs and cloud workloads (e.g., Azure Update Manager).

  • Support remaining on-premises infrastructure through its planned transition to cloud.

  • Maintain operational documentation, standards, and procedures.

  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers to resolve infrastructure issues.


Level 3 Support and Incident Response



  • Act as an escalation point for complex infrastructure issues, partnering with senior engineers on the hardest problems.

  • Troubleshoot cloud, server, networking, identity, and application connectivity problems.

  • Participate in root cause analysis and problem resolution efforts.

  • Participate in major incident response and problem management activities.


Identity and Security



  • Support Microsoft Entra ID administration and identity services.

  • Assist with Conditional Access, MFA, RBAC, and security remediation activities.

  • Partner with the Information Security team on vulnerability management and platform hardening initiatives.

  • Actively participate in the team’s DevSecOps practices, including working with security on scanning pipelines and shift-left collaboration with Development.


Collaboration and Delivery



  • Work closely with Infrastructure, Security, Development, and business stakeholders to support projects, operational initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.

  • Use Jira and Azure DevOps to track work, document activities, and contribute to team delivery objectives.

  • Take part in the team’s daily DevSecOps working sessions and cross-functional syncs to stay aligned on security, delivery, and operational priorities.


Automation and Continuous Improvement



  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts, automation solutions, and operational improvements.

  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual operational effort.

  • Leverage AI-assisted tools such as Claude and Azure AI capabilities to improve troubleshooting, documentation, and operational efficiency.

  • Contribute to infrastructure modernization and cloud optimization initiatives.

Salary Range:


$125,000 - $135,000

Under the New York Convenience Rule, all employees, regardless of their residence in other states, will be taxed at the New York State tax rate. Employees may also have additional state-specific tax obligations depending on where they live
