Your Next Career Opportunity - Senior Infrastructure Engineer
The Senior Infrastructure Engineer is a hands-on individual contributor role within the Infrastructure Engineering team, responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting on-premises and collocated data center environments. Reporting to the Manager, Infrastructure Engineering, this position requires a seasoned technical professional with extensive experience in Microsoft Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft AVD, & Intune. They will also be well versed in Data Center technologies SAN storage, virtualization, operating systems, and backup/business continuity and disaster recovery (DR). The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will architect, optimize, and secure critical infrastructure, ensuring high availability, resilience, and compliance. The role also includes supporting Azure environments for DR and BC concepts, including replication and hybrid recovery solutions. The role involves collaboration across IT, security, and application teams to deliver robust infrastructure solutions and operational excellence.
What You Will Do - Primary Responsibilities
  • Infrastructure Engineering & Operations: Design, deploy, and support on-premises and collocated data center infrastructure, including compute, storage, virtualization, and operating systems.
  • Identity & Access Management: Architect, implement, and manage Active Directory, Entra ID, and related identity solutions. Support hybrid identity integrations and enforce security best practices.
  • Modern Workplace Management: Administer and optimize Microsoft AVD and Intune environments for secure, scalable endpoint management and remote access.
  • Storage & Virtualization: Architect and support enterprise storage solutions (SAN/NAS), virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V), hyperconverged infrastructure (Nutanix) and ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Azure Infrastructure & DR/BC Support: Design, implement, support, and test backup, business continuity, and disaster recovery solutions-both on-premises and in Azure environments-including replication and hybrid recovery strategies. Collaborate with cloud and security teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure and cloud services, meeting organizational RTO/RPO requirements.
  • Security & Compliance: Collaborate with security teams to ensure infrastructure meets organizational and regulatory standards. Implement and maintain security controls and monitoring.
  • Operational Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and escalation support for infrastructure incidents and problems.
  • Documentation & Process Improvement: Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to process improvement initiatives for infrastructure management.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay current with evolving infrastructure technologies, trends, and best practices. Recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
  • Completes other projects and duties as assigned.

What You'll Need - Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, MIS or equivalent field of study preferred
  • Technical -Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in infrastructure engineering, supporting on-premises, collocated, hybrid, and cloud environments (including Azure and AWS) within data center operations
