Skilled mechanics are responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of mechanical systems. Their tasks may include:
Diagnosis: Mechanics use their expertise to identify issues in machinery or vehicles by conducting thorough inspections, running diagnostic tests, and interpreting error codes.
Repair: Once the problem is identified, mechanics employ their knowledge to fix or replace defective components. This could involve tasks like replacing worn-out parts, repairing electrical systems, and addressing engine malfunctions.
Maintenance: Mechanics perform routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns and extend the lifespan of machinery or vehicles. This involves tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and calibration.
