Schedule: Project-based; current opening 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM; overtime and weekend hours as assigned

About the Role
ShareSTAFF is hiring Quality Control Inspectors for third-party inspection, sortation, and containment assignments at a quality assurance and inspection facility in Sparks, Nevada. As a Quality Control Inspector on our team, you will perform independent visual inspections of automotive and electric vehicle (EV) components and assemblies, identify defects, document findings, and help ensure that non-conforming items are properly contained before reaching the production line or end customer. This is project-based work supporting major automotive and EV manufacturers in the Reno–Sparks region, with schedules that adjust to client production needs.
What You'll Do
  • Perform visual inspections of automotive and EV components and assemblies against client specifications
  • Identify defects such as scratches, dents, stains, stitching or finish flaws, and missing or damaged parts
  • Sort, contain, and segregate non-conforming material per client and industry quality protocols
  • Document findings using client inspection forms, tracking systems, and daily reports
  • Communicate quality issues to supervisors and on-site quality engineers
  • Support rework and repack activities and prepare inspected items for shipment to the production line or end customer
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with facility standards
  • Follow all client facility safety, PPE, and quality system requirements
What You Bring - Required
  • At least 6 months of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or similar environment
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot small visual defects
  • Ability to stand for 8–12 hours and lift up to 50 lbs continually throughout a shift
  • Willingness to work variable project-based shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English for documentation and team coordination (Spanish speakers welcome)
  • Reliable transportation to the Sparks worksite
  • Must be able to complete pre-placement requirements
What You Bring - Preferred
  • Prior experience as a Quality Control Inspector, Quality Inspector, QC Technician, Quality Auditor, or Sortation/Containment Inspector
  • Experience inspecting automotive components, EV battery components, seats, interiors, or other manufactured assemblies
  • Familiarity with automotive quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, PPAP, CS1/CS2)
  • Experience with third-party quality assurance, sorting, or containment work
  • Steel-toed boots and willingness to follow a standard warehouse dress code (solid-color shirts, jeans without rips or holes)
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills
