Title: Temporary Warehouse Associate

  • Friday: 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM (

Compensation: $18.00 - $19.50 / hour + Health Benefits

Location: Midvale, UT. This role is onsite #LI-Onsite

Reports to: Repair Warehouse Supervisor


Role Duration & Benefits:

This is a temporary, full-time position for an initial 3-month duration, with the potential for extension based on business needs and performance. Unlike typical short-term roles, BioLite offers health benefits to temporary employees starting on Day 1 of hire.


This Role:

BioLite / Goal Zero is looking for a detail-oriented Temporary Warehouse Associate to join our team in supporting Goal Zero's Return and Repair Program. In this role, you will focus on receiving, inspecting, and repairing returned Goal Zero products. Your primary responsibility will be evaluating returned units, physically sorting and troubleshooting them, performing basic repairs, and preparing them for resale to customers.


You Will:

  • Unload, move, and stage heavy units and return shipments across the warehouse floor.
  • Conduct thorough visual and basic functional inspections of returned units while seated in a low, wheeled task chair/creeper.
  • Safely lift and transport products weighing up to 70 lbs individually, and perform team lifts for units up to 140 lbs using proper lifting mechanics.
  • Help log inspection results, serial numbers, and unit conditions accurately into tracking systems.
  • Sort and route inspected inventory to the appropriate staging area (refurbishment or restocking).
  • Conduct basic repairs by following standard operating procedures to check voltage readings, button and port functionality.
  • Stand, walk, reach, and bend on concrete floors for up to 9 hours per shift, maintaining a tidy, safe work area.


You Have:

  • Physical Readiness: Ability to lift up to 70 lbs individually (140 lbs as a team lift), work on your feet for 8 hours daily, and comfortably inspect units low to the ground in a wheeled chair.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to spot physical damage, missing components, or wear and tear, and accurately communicate findings to other team members.
  • Reliability & Dependability: Punctual, safety-conscious, and capable of maintaining consistency during high-volume processing.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of everyday tools and equipment, including screwdrivers, drills, pliers, wirecutters, and boxcutters.
  • Team Mindset: Strong communication skills to execute two-person lifts safely and coordinate workflow amongst team members.
  • Basic Computer Literacy: Comfort entering unit data, updating statuses, or looking up serial numbers in digital systems.
