Job SummaryWill provide technical support for CHS line equipment, assisting Customers, Sales, and the Service team with troubleshooting, service coordination, parts support, and maintenance of technical documentation related to CHS equipment. (This is not an IT position.)Duties and Responsibilities: Receive and respond to customer, Sales, and internal requests for technical support related to CHS line equipment, including service and parts inquiries.Provide technical assistance for CHS line equipment, including troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues and supporting resolution of equipment performance concerns.Assist in coordinating service activities for CHS equipment, including identifying required parts, personnel needs, and customer-required service dates.Prepare and provide service- and parts-related quotations for CHS line equipment.Assist Sales with CHS line technical support from the main office and as required, at customer plants.Enter, maintain, and update service, parts, and technical information related to CHS line equipment in Encompix and other designated company databases.Support the establishment and maintenance of CHS line spare parts information to support customer sales and service efficiency.Assist with maintaining technical databases and documentation used by Mechanical and Electrical Engineering during design reviews and ongoing support of CHS equipment.Apply and support the company quality system in all technical support activities related to CHS line equipment. Qualifications Minimum associate degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.Must have a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.Must have a sound mechanical background, including a good understanding of electricity and electrical systems, basic hydraulics, lubrication systems, and pneumatic systems.Commitment to customer service.Thorough understanding of mechanical systems including hydraulics, lubrication, and pneumatics as applicable to CHS line equipment.Understanding of company quality system and ability to apply them effectively.Basic computer skills, including Windows-based applications (Word, Excel, Access).Commitment to Automatic Feed Company's Quality Policy, Values, and Vision. Competencies:Communication Proficiency Results DrivenOrganizational SkillsInitiativeCustomer/Client FocusTechnical Capacity Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
