Job description

Job Title:                         Assembly Associate/Worker

Location:                        Kennesaw, GA, 30144 (onsite)
Pay Rate:                        $17.00–$18.00/hour (based on shift)

Job Duration:               12 Months (Possible Extension or Conversion depending on performance/business needs)

Available Shifts

  • 1st Shift: Monday – Thursday, 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • 2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM
  • Overtime may be required on Fridays and/or Saturdays based on production needs.

 

Job Summary

  • We are seeking reliable Assembly Associates to perform repetitive assembly operations on large and medium-sized components without the use of heavy machinery.
  • In this role, you will assemble products, work with printed circuit boards (PCBs), perform testing and final assembly, and support production operations while maintaining quality and safety standards.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform repetitive mechanical and electronic assembly operations.
  • Assemble Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) and related metal and plastic components.
  • Follow assembly drawings, work instructions, and production procedures.
  • Pull parts, stage materials, and put stock away.
  • Perform slide-line assembly, silkscreen operations, testing, post-test, and final assembly.
  • Inspect completed assemblies for quality and accuracy.
  • Meet daily production schedules and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

 

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.
  • Electronic, mechanical, or PCB assembly experience is a plus.
  • Ability to read and understand English work instructions.
  • Basic math skills, including percentages and measurements.
  • Strong attention to detail with good hand-eye coordination.
  • Mechanically inclined with the ability to work with small components.
  • Soldering experience and familiarity with quality systems are preferred but not required.
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required

 

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while performing assembly work.
  • Lift up to 35 lbs as required.
  • Perform repetitive hand and arm movements throughout the shift.
  • Fingernails must be kept at a practical length to safely handle small components.

 

Work Environment & Dress Code

  • Casual work attire is permitted; clean jeans are acceptable.
  • Closed-toe shoes are required on the production floor.
  • Business casual attire is expected for interviews.

 

Interview Process

Candidates will participate in an in-person interview that includes:

  • Assembly skills assessment (quality and speed)
  • Basic math test
  • Directions/comprehension test
  • This evaluation helps determine the candidate's ability to perform the job successfully.
