Job description

Architectural Drafter / BIM Technician

Job Description:-

  • You will work in Revit on existing plans, design, and construction documents. We like to give each employee the opportunity to be a part of projects from beginning to end.

  • You will be an integral part of the team, working with each project manager, and building and planning department officials.

  • This role supports project architects and designers through the production of high-quality construction documents and technical drawings across a variety of project types. In our small office we help each other and feel comfortable asking questions.

  • We will work closely with you to be sure you have the tools you need and check your work and progress along the way.

Current projects include:-

  • Residential - architectural and interior design for remodels, and new homes

  • Civic - government, and colleges

  • Commercial - restaurants, music venues, salons, retail and offices.

Qualifications:-

  • Proficient in Revit (required)

  • 3-5 years' experience

  • Comfortable with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

  • Asana experience a plus

  • Computer modeling and rendering skills a plus

  • Experience in creating Construction Documents

Location: -

  • Santa Cruz, CA

  • Four days in-office at our Santa Cruz studio, one day remote

Compensation:-

  • Competitive salary based on qualifications and skills

  • Flexible schedule

  • Paid state and federal holidays off (12 days)

  • 80 hours PTO annually
