A Day in the Life

The Temporary Sales Enablement Specialist provides day-to-day marketing and sales enablement support during a planned parental leave. This role is ideal for a strong writer who can translate technical information into clear, compelling sales materials that help business development teams engage clients and win work. The individual will partner with technical subject matter experts and business development teams to develop compelling sales collateral, manage incoming requests, conduct market research, and ensure sales teams have access to current, high-quality content. The ideal candidate is an organized, proactive communicator who can quickly learn technical subject matter and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The compensation range for this role is $70kto $75k, commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location. This is a 3 month temporary opportunity.

To thrive in this role, you'll be comfortable taking ownership of the following responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary sales enablement contact for Testing & Analysis stakeholders.

  • Manage incoming sales enablement requests and facilitate project kick-off meetings with stakeholders.

  • Develop, write, edit, and design compelling sales collateral, including service and product sheets, statements of qualifications, presentations, project profiles, and other customer-facing materials.

  • Update and maintain existing sales enablement materials to ensure accuracy, branding, and messaging consistency.

  • Conduct market, competitor, and client research to support business development initiatives.

  • Maintain the sales content library by uploading new assets, organizing materials, applying metadata, and ensuring content is current and easily searchable.

  • Coordinate with technical experts, business development, and marketing teams to gather information and manage project timelines.

  • Prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality deliverables.

  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects using ClickUp, ensuring tasks, timelines, status updates, and deliverables are accurately tracked and maintained.

Your Expertise and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 2-5 years of experience in marketing, sales enablement, proposal development, or communications

  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills

  • Experience creating professional sales collateral

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

  • Experience using project management platforms such as ClickUp or Asana to manage workflows and collaborate across teams.

  • Experience using generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude) to support content creation, research, editing, and workflow efficiency while applying sound judgment and human review.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication

  • Ability to interview subject matter experts and translate technical concepts into client-focused messaging

  • Strong project management and organizational skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Self-starter with minimal supervision

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Collaboration and stakeholder management

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with Adobe InDesign

  • Experience with CRM or sales enablement platforms (Salesforce, Loopio, Aprimo, etc.)

  • Experience supporting technical or environmental consulting organizations

  • Experience with graphic design, illustration, and/or layouts
