The Village of Glendale Crossing has an exciting opportunity for a Cook to join their Retirement team.

• Status: Temporary Full-Time
• Location: 3030 Singleton Ave, London, Ontario
• Position Type: 0600-1430 Hours - 75 Hours Biweekly

The hiring rate for this role is $ 22.82 per collective agreement/employee association agreement.

To be successful as our new COOK, you will:

• Be a graduate of Chef Training or Culinary Management Diploma from an accredited college
• Possess a food safety certification
• Be able to lift up to 35lbs
• Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents, families, and team members
• Understand the physical, mental, and emotional demands of the COOK role

It would be an asset if our new COOK has:

• Acquired a Red Seal designation
• Possesses an understanding of therapeutic diets
• Knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, legislation, regulations and best practices applicable to the retirement and long-term care sector
