Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Crew Business SME with strong airline domain expertise to support crew scheduling, crew operations, system implementation, and business transformation initiatives.


The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working as a Crew Scheduler within an Airline Operations Control Center (OCC) and possess deep knowledge of crew planning, scheduling, tracking, recovery, compliance, and day-of-operations management.


This role will serve as a subject matter expert for crew scheduling processes, operational workflows, technology modernization, system implementations, integrations, and business transformation programs within airline crew operations.


Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent airline industry experience.

8+ years of airline operations experience, including direct experience as a Crew Scheduler within an Airline Operations Control Center (OCC).

12+ years of overall professional experience.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Process Improvement

Develop business requirements, use cases, process maps, and operational workflows for crew operations.

Serve as the business SME and lead for crew scheduling system implementations, upgrades, integrations, and enhancements.

Work closely with product owners, developers, QA teams, business stakeholders, and technology vendors to validate and refine requirements.

Participate in system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production readiness activities.

Support crew management platforms and associated integration points.

Document and analyze current-state and future-state crew scheduling processes.

Identify operational challenges, analyze business impacts, and recommend process improvements.

Support automation, technology modernization, and digital transformation initiatives across airline crew operations.

Provide subject matter expertise on crew scheduling workflows and day-of-operations processes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technology solutions align with airline operational requirements and business objectives.
