TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Encinitas, California, 92024!

Job Title

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit during night shift hours
  • Perform fetal monitoring in accordance with AWHONN standards
  • Circulate for cesarean section procedures as required
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
  • Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using EPIC electronic health records
Required Qualifications
  • Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submittal (Temporary or Permanent; no EMSA)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – must be American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
  • Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification through AWHONN, issued within the last 2 years
  • Demonstrated ability to circulate for c-sections (must be reflected on skills checklist)
  • Minimum 1.5 years of continuous experience in Labor and Delivery specialty
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • EPIC or combined EPIC/Cerner experience within the last 6 months of work history
  • At least 1 year of total travel nursing experience, with 6 or more months of continuous travel experience leading up to submittal
  • Supervisory-level professional reference available upon submittal
