RN/LPN/MA opportunity in beautiful Hamilton, Montana!!

Bitterroot Health is seeking candidates to fill an Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant position in our International Heart Institute.   Under the supervision of the Heart Institute Medical Director and department director, the RN/LPN/MA is responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care in the clinic/office/hospital setting. Provides care that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care; meets communication needs of the patient and family; provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the supervision of a physician. Maintains regulatory requirements, nursing and departmental policies, procedures and standards. Communicates with physicians and team members regarding the patient’s clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomology.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: 
    • RN must have 2 or 4 year Registered Nursing degree and current Montana state license
    • LPN requires current MT license
    • MA must be a graduate of an accredited medical assisting program or have equivalent experience
  • Certification, Registration:  BLS required, ACLS preferred.
  • Job Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:  Provide the best patient experience while maintaining patient safety.  Manage patient data quickly and accurately.   Ability to follow established protocols and procedures efficiently, while demonstrating adherence to the laws and regulations passed by official regulating bodies and  general principles of ethical conduct and internal policies and procedures.
  • Experience:  Cardiac experience preferred

Schedule:  Full-time, 40 hours/week
