Harborview Medical Center - Emergency Departmenthas an outstanding job opportunity for aCNA / Patient Care Technicianposition.
WORK SCHEDULE

  • 90% FTE (36 hours per week)

  • Night Shift


PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the medical and nursing staff by performing delegated tasks that involve direct patient care

  • Transportation of patients, supplies, and specimens

  • Ordering and stocking of supplies

  • Maintain / set up of special equipment

  • Participate in unit and selected departmental activities to promote effective problem solving and communication

  • This position provides opportunities to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment


REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 1-year experience as ED Tech or CNA in an Inpatient Hospital Acute Care or ICU settings

  • High School graduation AND six months experience involving customer service in a health care setting OR six months experience involving direct patient care OR equivalent education/experience

  • Must have a current, valid Certified Nursing Assistant Certification (NAC) with WA State
    (Please include your Washington State NAC license on your resume.)

  • Valid American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers upon hire

Compensation, Benefits and Position Details

Pay Range Minimum:

$28.26 hourly

$40.47 hourly

Other Compensation:

Evening: $1.50/hour Night: $2.25/hour Weekend: $1.50/hour
