Job Description
THE ROLE: Motion Designer (Temporary)- Remote
3PPW 18M, non-exempt, hourly, 40h/week, remote
M - F, 9 - 5.30P or 11.30 - 8P Eastern Time
We're seeking a Motion Graphics Artist to join the team on a temporary basis. This is a high-volume, detail-oriented role focused primarily on toolkit QC, versioning, formatting, credits, and related production tasks, with occasional support on creative requests. The ideal candidate is highly organized, moves quickly without sacrificing quality, and takes pride in the craft at every level of the work. They should be comfortable working within established creative systems and templates while applying strong judgment to design and animation decisions. Role will report to the Manager of Motion Graphics Operations.
MORE OF WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Provide essential support to the team by handling functional motion graphics tasks such as toolkit QCs, credits, versioning, social format adaptations, lower thirds, and related production needs
  • Execute updates and revisions across existing toolkits, templates, and motion assets
  • Support the creation of motion graphics, animations, and visual effects that align with project goals and brand standards
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within scope
  • Balance speed, accuracy, and consistency across multiple concurrent requests
  • Maintain organized file structures, consistent naming conventions, and clean project files across shared systems
  • Test and evaluate new tools, software, and applications, including AI, to support team efficiency and evolving workflows
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and proactively identify solutions to keep projects moving

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
  • 1-3 years of professional motion graphics experience
  • A demo reel demonstrating relevant motion graphics work
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Experience adapting existing motion assets across multiple formats, aspect ratios, and platform specs
  • Ability to manage a high volume of work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and consistency
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to take direction well, ask clear questions, and incorporate feedback quickly
  • Comfortable working in a role where much of the day-to-day work is production-focused rather than concept-driven
  • Strong sense of ownership over detailed, repetitive, or technical tasks
  • Familiarity with shared asset libraries, project organization, and production workflows
  • Basic working knowledge of corporate communication tools such as Outlook, Teams, and related platforms
  • Knowledge of Cinema 4D or 3D design is a plus
  • Commitment to ongoing growth in motion design craft, tools, workflows, and techniques

Please note project assignment associates are engaged to provide service to A+E Global Media on a temporary basis in connection with a specific project. Project assignment associates are hired and employed through a third-party vendor with a duration/tenure of no longer than eighteen (18) months.
Compensation
Contract Hourly Pay Rate: $50.00
