Job description

About the job Senior Software Engineer TS/SCI FSP
Senior Software Engineer | TS/SCI FSP
Location: Secure On-site Components
Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph Required
The Mission
We are engineering a sophisticated agentic harness designed for the world's most demanding intelligence environments. While the rest of the industry builds for the open web, we build for the "dark" corners of the cloud-on-premise deployments and fully air-gapped environments where internet connectivity is non-existent.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be the architect of the integration layer that allows AI agents to "see" and "act" across restricted data streams. You are the bridge between cutting-edge LLM orchestration and the secure, ruggedized infrastructure of the Intelligence Community.
What You'll Own

  • The Integration Engine: Design and maintain robust Python-based connectors that link agents to diverse data sources, APIs, and analyst workflows. You'll ensure these connectors are resilient against rate limiting, complex auth hurdles, and the unique failures of isolated networks.
  • Tooling Ecosystem: Extend and evolve Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, implementing new tool registrations and transport mechanisms that give our agents their "hands."
  • Deployment Parity: Ensure every feature works as seamlessly in an air-gapped Kubernetes cluster as it does in a commercial cloud. You'll solve the "works on my machine" problem at a national security scale.
  • The Reliability Standard: Own the performance and security of the integration pipeline. You'll implement contract-driven testing, connection pooling, and credential handling that meets the highest classified standards.
  • On-Site Impact: When the mission moves to a SCIF, you are the technical expert. You'll troubleshoot in environments where standard debugging tools don't exist, relying on your resourcefulness to keep the mission alive.
Your Technical DNA
  • Python Mastery: You write clean, performant, and highly testable code.
  • The "Air-Gap" Mindset: You understand the friction of disconnected package management, offline registries, and restricted environments.
  • Infrastructure Fluency: You are comfortable with Kubernetes, Helm charts, and managing manifests across multiple deployment targets.
  • Data Integrity: You care about latency, parsing throughput, and the security of every byte moving through the system.
Preferred Expertise
If you have experience in any of the following, we want to hear from you:
  • Mission Workflows: Prior experience with STIX/TAXII, OSINT, or imagery analysis pipelines.
  • Durable Execution: Familiarity with workflow orchestration like Temporal for multi-step tasks.
  • Data Engineering: Skills in ETL pipelines, schema normalization, or graph databases for entity resolution.
  • The Modern Stack (Restricted): Experience with ArgoCD, Harbor, or Rancher in IL5/IL6 or similar compliance-bounded environments.

Why This Role?
This isn't another "wrapper" app. We are building the foundational infrastructure for the next generation of intelligence analysis. You will work on a lean, high-autonomy team where your engineering decisions directly impact how analysts pull signal from the noise in the interest of national security.
Ready to build for the mission? Let's connect.
