Job description

The Director, Patient and Community Engagement provide strategic leadership and system-wide oversight of volunteer services, patient and family engagement, and community-facing programs across Temple University Health System (TUHS). This role advances the voice of the patient and family as a core driver of care delivery by leading the development, standardization, and integration of Patient and Family Advisory Councils (PFACs) and volunteer services across all TUHS entities. The Director collaborates with executive leadership, clinical teams, and community partners to improve the patient and family experience, strengthen community relationships, and ensure alignment with TUHS strategic priorities, regulatory requirements, and service excellence standards. Education Bachelor's Degree Healthcare related field Required Master's Degree Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related field Preferred Experience 5 years experience in a leadership role in Patient Experience, Volunteer services and Patient and Family Engagement Required General Experience with HCAHPS, CG-CAHPS, OAS-CAHPS, outpatient and patient satisfaction surveys. Required General Experience leading Patient and Family Advisory Councils Required General Experience in a multi-hospital health system Preferred Licenses Cert Patient Experience Prof Required
