MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Technical Security and Signals Countermeasures (TSSC) Analyst to join our team in Springfield, VA.
 

The Technical Security and Signals Countermeasures (TSSC) Analyst will leverage their strong technical background and knowledge to anticipate, detect, identify, and mitigate technical security vulnerabilities. You will support the mission by providing critical analysis of signals of interest and physical security deficiencies that could compromise sensitive information.
 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct analysis of technical security data collected during TSCM surveys and IPMS operations.
  • Evaluate RF signals of interest and assist in determining their threat potential.
  • Prepare specialized technical risk assessment products, reports, and briefings.
  • Support the identification of physical and acoustical security deficiencies.
  • Analyze complex technical security issues and provide cost-effective recommendations.
  • Support TEMPEST countermeasure reviews and technical evaluations as needed.
  • Maintain familiarity with current TSCM, Cyber, TEMPEST, and CI policies and procedures.
     

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED with 7+ years of experience in technical security, signals analysis, or data analysis.
  • Must complete at least 40 hours of discipline-specific development or refresher training every fiscal year
  • Shall meet minimum training requirements for access to DOW networks in accordance with DODD 8140.01
  • Experience with intelligence analysis and the intelligence lifecycle
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Interagency Training Center (ITC) TSCM Certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Credentialed graduate of an accredited federal or departmental CI training academy.
     

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have an active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a polygraph.  
     

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets and office machinery.
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
  • Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
