Diesel MechanicIndustrial Equipment & Fleet Maintenance | Full-Time

Are you a hands-on mechanic who enjoys troubleshooting and keeping equipment running at peak performance? Join a growing metal recycling operation where you'll work on a wide variety of trucks, trailers, cranes, and industrial processing equipment. What You'll Do
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks, trailers, cranes, and recycling equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and air brake system issues.
  • Repair diesel engines, drivetrains, transmissions, suspensions, wheel ends, and related components.
  • Conduct DOT inspections and ensure equipment complies with safety and FMCSA regulations.
  • Read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication work as needed for repairs.
  • Use diagnostic tools and testing equipment to accurately identify mechanical failures.
  • Complete repair orders and maintenance documentation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work area.
  • Work closely with operations personnel to minimize equipment downtime.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience as a Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Fleet Mechanic, or Automotive Mechanic.
  • Knowledge of diesel engines, preventative maintenance programs, and air brake systems.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Experience using diagnostic tools and testing equipment, including volt meters.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work and safely use shop equipment.
  • Must provide personal mechanic hand tools.

  • Welding and fabrication experience.
