What Does a Mobile Welder Do?
As a mobile welder, your responsibilities are to travel to a customer or client to offer portable welding services. Your duties include using tools and equipment to weld projects in homes or businesses, scheduling welding appointments with customers, and meeting with customers to discuss their needs for welding and repairs. If you own your own business, you need a van or truck to transport equipment and meet with customers. You can find both regular and one-time clients for your business. However, you can also work for a company that provides welding services. Mobile welders complete most work during regular business hours but sometimes offer emergency repair services on evenings and weekends.
