Job description

The University of New Mexico-Gallup Branch, Liberal Arts& Education Division, is seeking an emergency temporary part-time facultyto teach face-to-face and/or develop lower division courses (100 and 1000level) in POLS 1150 - Navajo Government beginning the Fall 2026 semester.
UNM-Gallup instructors are responsible for all aspects of any class they areteaching including but not limited to meeting face-to-face with the classduring assigned times that may include evenings or weekends, content delivery,assignment development, grading assignments, reporting of grades, andassessment of student learning as outlined by the division chair.
Temp part-time faculty positions are contingent upon need each semester asdetermined by student enrollment levels, current course offering matrix, anddemand driven by graduation requirements.  Temp part-time facultypositions may be filled or eliminated each semester up to the deadline forstudents to drop or add courses.  Candidate selected for this positionwill report to the division chair.
