About this opportunity:

This position will provide the administrative capacity necessary to move courses efficiently through the existing review process, coordinate communication among Admissions, Academic Departments, Advising, and Students, and ensure that completed evaluations are appropriately documented and advanced for system updates.

What you'll do and what you'll bring:

The temporary employee will provide administrative and research support for the transfer credit evaluation process. Primary responsibilities will include reviewing Argos reports to identify transfer courses entered by Admissions as XXX-880; researching course descriptions through the online catalogs of transfer institutions; compiling and forwarding course information to the appropriate department chairs or their designees for academic review; tracking outstanding evaluations and following up as necessary; and communicating completed equivalency determinations to the appropriate Advising leadership personnel so that Banner can be updated and the transfer credit process can move forward. When a course equivalency cannot be determined from the available course description, the temporary employee will contact the student to request a syllabus and facilitate its submission for faculty review.
